Course: Strength of Material.     Course Code: (22306)

At the end of Strength of Material course the student will be able:

CO 1: Compute moment of inertia symmetrical and unsymmetrical structural sections.
CO 2: Estimate simple stresses in machine components.
CO 3: Perform test to evaluate mechanical properties according to India standards.
CO 4: Compute shear force and bending moment and corresponding shear and bending stresses In Beam subjected to           point load and UDL.
CO 5: Estimate stresses in shaft under twisting moments.
CO 6: Estimate stresses in short member subjected to eccentric loading.


Course: Basic Electrical and Electronics Engg.      Course Code: (22310)

At the end of Basic Electrical and Electronics Engg. Course the student will be able:

CO 1: Use principles electric and magnetic circuits to solve engineering problems.
CO 2: Determine voltage and current in AC circuits.
CO 3: Connect transformer and electric motors for specific requirement.
CO 4: Identify electronic component in electric circuits.
CO 5: Use relevant electronic components safely.


Course: Thermal Engineering.    Course Code: (22337)

At the end of Thermal Engineering course the student will be able:

CO 1: Apply Laws of thermodynamics to device based on thermodynamics.
CO 2: Use first law of thermodynamics for ideal gases in closed systems.
CO 3: Use relevant steam boilers.
CO 4: Use relevant steam nozzles and turbine.
CO 5: Use relevant steam condenser.
CO 6: Use suitable modes of heat transfer.


Course: Mechanical Working Drawing.    Course Code: (22341)

At the end of Mechanical Working Drawing course the student will be able:

CO 1: Draw development of lateral surfaces of various solids.
CO 2: Draw intersection curves of different solids.
CO 3: Use various drawing codes, conventions and symbol as per IS SP-46.
CO 4: Draw production drawing used to produce products.
CO 5: Draw assembly and detailed drawings of products.


Course: Engineering Metrology.     Course Code: (22342)

At the end of Engineering Metrology course the student will be able:

CO 1: Select the suitable instrument for measurement.
CO 2: Use different types of comparators.
CO 3: Select fits, gauges and tolerances for machine components.
CO 4: Use relevant instruments to measure different parameters of screw thread and gears.
CO 5: Use linear and angular measuring instruments.
CO 6: Select relevant surface testing methods.


Course: Mechanical Engineering Materials.     Course Code: (22343)

At the end of Mechanical Engineering Materials course the student will be able:

CO 1: Identify properties of materials.
CO 2: Select relevant ferrous materials for mechanical components.
CO 3: Select relevant cast iron for the engineering application.
CO 4: Use non-ferrous materials for mechanical components.
CO 5: Suggest relevant advanced materials for mechanical components.
CO 6: Select relevant heat treatment process.

At the end of Theory of Machine course the student will be able:

CO 1: Identify various links in popular mechanism.
CO 2: Select suitable mechanism for various applications.
CO 3: Interprets the motion of cam and followers.
CO 4: Recommends various belts, chains and drives for different applications.
CO 5: Choose relevant brakes and clutches for various applications.
CO 6: Select suitable Flywheel and governor for various applications.


Course: Mechanical Engineering Measurement      Course Code: (22443)

At the end of Mechanical Engineering Measurement course the student will be able:

CO 1: Use relevant instruments for measuring displacement.
CO 2: Use relevant instruments for measuring Force and torque.
CO 3: Use relevant Pressure and Temperature measuring instruments.
CO 4: Use relevant instruments for measurement of flow.
CO 5: Select relevant instruments for measurement of vibration and strain.
CO 6: Select relevant instruments for speed and sound measurement.


Course: Fluid Mechanics and Machinery    Course Code: (22445)

At the end of Fluid Mechanics and Machinery course the student will be able:

CO 1: Use manometer and Bourdon gauge to measure pressure.
CO 2: Use flow meter to measure the rate of flow.
CO 3: Maintain flow through pipe.
CO 4: Maintain the jet impact on various types of vanes for optimum efficiency.
CO 5: Maintain Hydraulic Turbine.
CO 6: Maintain Hydraulic Pumps.


Course: Manufacturing Process      Course Code: (22446)

At the end of Manufacturing Process I course the student will be able:

CO 1: Produce the job using lathe and drilling machines.
CO 2: Produce the job using Shaping and Slotting operation.
CO 3: Prepare product using different casting processes.
CO 4: Prepare product using different forming processes.
CO 5: Use joining process to produce Jobs.


Course: Buliding Planning And Drawing.      Course Code: (22405)

At the end of Building Planning And Drawing course the student will be able:

CO a: interpret the symbols, sign and convention from the given drawing.
CO b: prepare line plan of residential and public building using principles planning.
CO c: Prepare submission and working drawing from the given requirement of load bearing structure.
CO d: Prepare submission and working drawing from the given requirement of Frame structure.
CO e: Draw two Point perspectives drawing for given small object.


Course:Fundamental of Mechatronics.     Course Code: (22048)

At the end of Fundamental of Mechatronics course the student will be able:

CO 1: Use sensors for different mechatronics applications.
CO 2: Use transducers for different mechatronic based applications.
CO 3: Use actuators for different mechatronic based applications.
CO 4: Program PLC for various applications.
CO 5: Use Microprocessor and microcontroller for various mechatronic based applications.


Course:Computer Aided Drafting.    Course Code: (22042)

At the end of Computer Aided Drafting course the student will be able:

CO 1: Use file management technique in a CAD software.
CO 2: Draw complex 2D geometric figure using CAD software.
CO 3: Modify complex 2D geometric figure using CAD software.
CO 4: Use software to dimension and write text on existing 2D geometric entities.
CO 5: Use software to plot existing drawing with desired plot parameter.
CO 6: Use layers and blocks to create digital drawing using relevant software’s.


Course:Environment Studies.    Course Code: (22042)

At the end of Environment Studies course the student will be able:

CO 1: Develop Public awareness about environment.
CO 2: Select alternative energy sources for engineering practice.
CO 3: Apply techniques to reduce environment pollution.
CO 4: Manage social issues and environment ethics as lifelong learning.
