PURPOSE

To have interaction with Alumni to act as a linkage with Alma Mater and also get benefits to present students.

Scope

It covers the alumni activities for all the branches for regular students and alumni.

RESPONSIBILITY

Principal, Alumni Coordinator, TPO
1. The Governing Body of Alumni Association is formed for the academic session, as per Rules and Byelaws.
2. A yearly publication of address book of third and final year students (SMARAN) is prepared, printed and distributed among the final year students before their completion of eighth semester.
3. The schedule of various alumni meets to be organized at major metropolitan cities is decided in the beginning of academic session. These are organized with help of local alumni members.
4. The requests from alumni regarding their visit to the college, lodging/boarding arrangement if any are well taken care of. Their Guest Lectures are also planned for benefit of students.
5. The information of the alumni is regularly updated and maintained.
6. The list of top 10 alumni is updated every year.
7. The registration process of the alumni membership (yearly/life member) is carried out by charging the stipulated fee.
8. The New Year, Diwali Greetings and any related brochures/leaflets are distributed to all the alumni every year.
9. The scholarships, any donations for the college by the alumni are accepted and the records are maintained.
10. The feedback/suggestions from the alumni are taken care of and those are put before the college authority time to time for the all-round growth of the institution.
11. The website of the alumni association is maintained regularly.
