Giving prime importance to academic as well as holistic development, students' must follow the following guidelines-

Academics:


• Students must attend all theory, tutorial & practical lectures.
• Students are expected to pay full attention during lectures & practical classes, participate in the discussion and complete the given task in class room/practical.
• They must submit all assignments, tutorials, practical/practical manual and project/micro projects on time.
• Students must check notice board regularly.
• Students are required to maintain more than 75 % attendance.
• They must report all difficulties to respective faculty members or class counselors/HOD.
• Students must participate in skill development certification course in each semester.
• Students are suggested to discuss their academic difficulties with their Class Counselors/Mentors periodically.

Discipline:

Discipline is typically integral to the success of a college student. Although moving on from the confines of high school academics to the college atmosphere may seem intimidating, building good self discipline has always been the Institute's priority.
• The academic hours of the college are from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Saturday and except on every months 1st and 3rd Saturday. All are expected to follow this timing and plan out accordingly.
• Students who come late are to proceed to the Library/ reading room if they fail to report to their respective classes on time. A grace time of 5 minutes may be granted by the faculty taking class.
• We promote 100 % attendance of a student through various incentive schemes.
• Students are expected to respect the Dress code and come to the college wearing the prescribed uniform.
• Students are expected to maintain the legacy of FOP, Akole even outside the campus, especially when wearing the College uniform.
• It is expected that the Students give due respect to their Professors and College authorities in order to ensure a friendly and progressive campus.
• Students are invited to orient themselves towards highly professional life and behavior.
• Any forms of ragging are prohibited by law and should be reported at the earliest to the Class councilor/Anti-Ragging committee of the college for immediate action.
• All the students and their parents are to submit every year anti-ragging affidavits as required by law.
• No student must indulge in anti-social practices.
• No mobiles are allowed to be used in the class room and ought to keep it in switch off mode. The violation of the same would lead to confiscation of the equipment. Mobiles may be used outside the building and only during off hours.
• Students are directed to maintain their class rooms, curtains, bench-desks and the premises neat and clean.
• FOP, Akole campus is a Non-Smoking area and is considered as Tobacco free.
• It is the duty of the students to take care of their belongings and valuables (Mobiles/money/calculator/bags/books/notebooks etc). The college will not responsible for any loss/theft the same.
• Girl students may report to the Women Grievance Redressal Cell of the College for any kind of harassment or misbehavior by any one related to/ employed by the College.
• Students who come to college by their own motorbike/scooters are expected to wear helmets as per law and should have valid driving license as well as proper documents for their vehicles. The College authorities would deny permission for parking inside the campus if anyone fails in this regard. Kindly avoid unapproved (by RTO) vehicles for transportation to College and back.

Holistic development:


• This activity aims are for an overall development of a student by inculcating the FOP, Akole values and Mission and Vision of the Institute.
• There are various activities, which organizes various Events/Workshops and Seminars under Holistic Development for the students.
Major highlights of holistic development of students:
• Organize and attend guest lectures by experts from industry and education institutes.
• Participate in Industrial visits.
• Attend Skilling Workshops within and outside the Institute.
• Actively participate in Project Competitions and Technical Paper Presentation Competitions within and outside the Institute.
• Demonstrate skills in cultural events by participating proactively.
• Students are encouraged to participate in Board and National Level Sports
• Students get platform to interact with alumni's of the institute during Annual Alumni Meet (Reflection) or during their college visits.
• To inculcate social welfare in students a program named NSS (National Service Scheme) is a government sponsored public service program which aimed at developing students' personality through community service.

Hostel rules and regulations:


• Room and Room partner once allotted will not be changed at any circumstances.
• Every Hosteller must keep his/her room neat and clean.
• Every Hosteller must make a entry of their PC/Laptop to the respective Hostel Warden.
• Every hosteller must wear proper dress while moving in the hostel or college premises.
• No hosteller is allowed to take any kind of eatables in the college and hostel premises.
• The preparation of 'Tea, Coffee, etc. is not allowed in the hostel rooms.
• No hosteller will be allowed to consume Drugs and Liquor in the hostel premises. If found the hostellers will be permanently rusticated from the hostel immediately
• Smoking in Hostel/College premises is strictly prohibited.
• Explosives/Crackers are strictly banned in College/Hostel Premises.
• Hanging/Sticking of posters on the walls, doors and windows are not allowed.
• No hostellers will be allowed to bring Sticks, Steel Rods, Chains, Knife, or any kind of weapons in the hostel, if found the hosteller will be permanently rusticated from the hostel immediately.
• Every hosteller should keep the bathroom and toilet walls clean.
• No hosteller will leave the hostel without permission of hostel authority, while going out of station.
• Every hosteller must make proper and economical use of lights, fans & water. He/She must put off all electric switches, water taps while going outside.
• No hosteller will be allowed to use Heater, Iron, CD/DVD Players in the room. If found same may be forfeited.
• Every hosteller should make proper use of the furniture provided by the college. Furniture once given will not be changed.
• No hosteller should compel a fellow hosteller who is junior to him, for any kind of personal work.
• No hosteller can call a fresher to his room without the permission of the warden. If found it will be treated as offense of ragging and will be permanently rusticated from the hostel immediately.
• Any kind of ragging inside or outside the college/hostel premises is not allowed. If anybody found guilty of ragging, disciplinary action will be taken on the spot which will be binding on the defaulter.
• No hosteller can entertain outside friends in the room.
• Every hosteller should report in the hostel before 10 P.M. (Boys) and 7 P.M. (Girls). Nobody will be allowed to go outside from 10 P.M. to 6 A.M.
• The decision of the Chief-Warden/Warden will be final in the case of any dispute or problem.
• No hosteller is allowed to keep Motorcycle/Scooter for his use.
• Hostel authority is not responsible for any kind of theft.
• No hosteller/outsider will be permitted to enter in hostel premises from 10 P.M. to 6.A.M. without prior permission of hostel warden.
