Description – Concrete Technology Lab

Concrete is the second largest material consume after water in the world. It’s an issue of prime importance as far as todays construction industry.it is difficult to point out any other material as versatile as concrete. Cement concrete is one of the seemingly simple but actually complex materials. So to simplify and understood various chemical, physical properties of cement and concrete and to understand utility of the same a well-equipped concrete lab is must to get whole knowledge. Description – Basic Surveying/Advanced Surveying Lab

Surveying is the prime and most important branch of the construction industry. It is the first procedure which is carried out for any kind of project. Surveying determines the feasibility of any project and surveying equipments helps to carry out works with proper precision. Advanced surveying equipments brings speed, accuracy and clarity in the work hence then branch surveying is having its own importance.


Description – Applied Mechanics Lab

Engineering Mechanics is one of the important subject which deals with mechanics of various structures and components. The results determined at laboratories ensure about safety, strength, rigidity, reliability and behaviors of mechanical beams, trusses, struts, joints and other technological aspects. It is thus significant to acquire sound theoretical knowledge coupled with practical inputs observed at laboratories. This course introduces the fundamentals of statics in engineering, which are prerequisites for further study of advanced mechanics. The main objective of the course is to learn basic principles of static in mechanics analyses, such as rigid bodies, centroids, scalar quantities, vectors, Newton's laws of motion and universal gravitation, units and dimensional analysis. It also includes a range of essential steps for solving problems in statics.


Description – Geotechnical engineering lab

Geotechnical engineering is the key branch in all types of construction as it primarily relates with all the activity of construction in subsoil for substructure . Geotechnical engineering concentrates on the properties of strata may be soil or rocks , studies various phenomenons happens during different conditions of ground and water . Hence geotech largely helps in determining stability of the structures also Helps in designing foundations and various remedial measures to be taken If unwanted conditions occur. This lab help us to conduct various tests on soil and helps to determine data and its reliability.
